- Classified Ads sites
Classified ads are an area of advertising normally associated with newspapers or magazines, however, the internet is one big newspaper and most offline classified ad companies now have an online presence.
Ads in newspapers and magazines are usually short, as they are charged by the line and column which can be quite expensive. Online, it often works out much cheaper.
There are hundreds to choose from, but not all are suitable. The ones you will use depend on what you are trying to sell; Services, digital products, hard products etc.~
1. Craigslist

Considered to be the best!
2. Backpage

The second busiest classified site after Craigslist. This is where all the escort ads went after Craigslist took down their erotic ads section due to pressure from 17 Attorney Generals.
3. Gumtree
http://www.gumtree.com
Now also one of the busiest classifieds sites. This high-traffic site focuses on UK ads.
4. Oodle
http://www.oodle.com
This serious classified site has partnerships with ForRent.com in the US and Autotrader in the UK.
5. Ebay Classifieds
http://www.ebayclassifieds.com
The official classifieds site for Ebay.
